Education in design, technology, economics, and health care
The FORTIS-Akademie is a successful vocational education center in Chemnitz, Saxony, which offers various educational courses for students who have completed secondary school. Since 1997, we have been offering vocational education in the areas of design, economics, technology, computer science, health care and social sciences. The Ministry of Education in Saxony has approved FORTIS-Akademie as a “School with International Orientation”.
Therefore, students from all over the world can complete the University of Applied Sciences Entrance Qualification at our school, which allows students afterwards to study at any University of Applied Sciences throughout Germany.
We offer attractive additional qualifications during your schooling / training. Moreover, you can choose from interesting FORTIS-PLUS packages, which enrich the quality of your education.
Additionally, we have developed a coordinated support program to prepare our students with extra tuition, vacation courses, student coaching and additional lessons in German as a second language for your final exam.

Cost of Education
The annual fee adds up to €13,200.00 and includes the following benefits:
- School fee
- Cost for residential accommodation and internet
- Health insurance coverage, liability insurance, accident insurance
- Personal assistance by native speaker (Mr. Wang)
- Personal assistance by teachers of FORTIS-AKADEMIE
- Courses in German as a foreign language
- Additional holiday courses and extra tuition, if needed
